World of Warcraft: Fire Mage PvP Tutorial Ft. Nexius (WoW Gameplay/Commentary) Edit 1: Game I’m playing at the beginning is Section 8: Prejudice. I needed something to get my fix for objective based FPS with vehicles until BF3 comes out and it was on sale in Steam. Edit 2: Seeing a few comments asking why I’m not taking Improved Cone of Cold. Here’s a quote of a reply to one of those questions: “While you get a huge benefit from impCoC, the problem I ran into was either not being able to close the distance needed for a Dragons Breath Stun, or not being able to kite well enough against melee. Going deeper in the frost tree for your fire spec can be AMAZING if you have support like a Pally to give you BOF, but I do mostly solo world PvP for fun and it didn’t suit my situation.” That alternative spec can be seen here: www.wowhead.com Links to the addons used in this video: Combustion Helper: wow.curse.com Cooldown Countdown: wow.curse.com Basic fire mage tutorial. Includes basic explanation of stats needed, gear configuration and talent specialization. Followed by a graphically detailed explanation on how combustion works. Then a play by play breakdown of a world PvP encounter as Fire Spec. Finally, the play by play at full speed, with a few other clips of world PvP. Huge thank you to everyone who subscribed! -Nexius
nexius, i like ur talents but i play fire on my mage, my OS is also fire, try putting some talents into improved /coc so u can proc ur pryo, then use COC for a much higher crit chance with pryo makeing it the best combustion, i also pop my trinket after i proc, then COC then pryo, so my pryo hits for more + much more dmg from combustion, i also do this in RBG and wait for a fireblast proc so i can spread ALL of that dmg + combustion onto all the other players nearby
Im a frost kinda guy but i would go fire just because of your skills.
where can i find his old videos? i heard he got hacked a while ago and all vids were deleted
You didn’t seem to cover why you didn’t take Molten Shields even though even in this video it could have helped you substantially.
whats the song at 9:33?
Awsome
i miss being fire
haha like the joker coment xD
thanks for teaching me how to not suck horribly at fire mage!
fuck frost its noskill
PVP
DD !!!! and KiCk AsS

TY for the great pvp tutorial on fire and frost
This video is great for new mages to pvp such as myself, Coming from a faceroll warrior i found this very very usefull. Good tips here thanks alot mate.
@yaboyjeezy1 Kid? Hes over 25
So if you wait till pyroblast, living bomb, or ignite wears off and then cast combustion, does combustion do the remaining dot of all 3 or all the dot it would do from the beginning? Please reply:)
and the song man it amazing to metalica ftw!
my two favorite things in one vid fire mage pvp and lines from my favorite villian the joker!!! ftw man you teach well man!
i always get ownd by hunters and rogues. there so gay….
70% speed for 3 seconds isn’t worth it imo and the clearcasting is on par with improved scorch plus you get an extra point out of it.
by getting these talents you lose 2% crit and improved cone of cold. In the video you said you can use combustion without ignite but thats just wastes a good 2 minute cooldown. By having improved cone of cold the chance of getting a good opertunity for a powerful combustion is much better and worth it.
your a good mage but these are thing i think you overlooked
@aeroman119 dks are 1 of frost mages biggest enemy
dam this kid is fuckin good lol
haha wow one of the best mages ive seen seems like i wouldent have trouble faceing a fire mage but dam u pwned but its alaways have troble aginst frost mages with my lv 85 dk can u help
