Why should finance be incorporated as a University General Education Requirement?

I’m doing a paper on why finance should be incorporated for every student. 2 of my reasons are to help students be knowledgeable on ways to deal with the debt of school, to take future stress off when married which could help decrease divorce rate. Can someone help me find another?

They may stimulate some topics for you. One of the area’s of my business is to go around and teach money management to folks at their place of business. About 90% of the people have no money management system in place which is why most Americans are only 2 paychecks away from being broke.
