What jobs could I get after completing a Masters in Finance?

I have an undergrad degree in Finance, but could not find any jobs with it. Now I am contemplating if I should go for a Masters degree in Finance. If yes, then what kind of jobs could I look at in the near future and what are the salaries I could earn with those jobs?

  1. There are many options for those who study with finance as their subject. You can go into corporate finance jobs, commercial banking, insurance or even in real estate or financial planning. Within these also there are various options like credit appraisal, account management, leasing, trade credit etc. You can read this very informative article on job opportunities in financial services at the link I am referring here. It also guides you about what employers want from you.

  2. You should definitely go get your masters. It would be helpful especially in these times. Companies are looking to hire people with the most experience and knowledge. I just completed my MBA and I have been getting interviews for more senior positions. With a masters in finance you can get a variety of different jobs offering good salary. I would recommend trying to get into the senior internal auditing field.
