What is the quote that talks about what a woman should do when her husband is reading the paper?
It’s something like don’t leave the room in a huff or tip-toe around. It says to kiss him swiftly on the cheek and occupy yourself in another room. I thought it was a George Washington quote but I can’t find it.
No idea! Nor do I care to know.
I like to take the freshly UNCRACKED paper into bed, shut the door and have a good read.
He may join me or stay out- it’s either or and not a talking time.
