What is the largest percentage a finance company can charge someone with bad credit in Chicago Illinois?

A finance company tried to charge me and my wife 44% interest on a $6,000 DOLLAR LOAN.Then told us that the total amount once payed would be $12,850 is that predatoryending or what ?

    They can charge what they like it’s up to you to not accept those terms. It’s tough to get a good rate when your credit is shot. Good luck!
