The prior night, my uncle passed away. My grandma and father, who was my uncle’s identical quote, as I’m sure is the rest of my family. Because of this, I wanted to make them something where I could include a bible quote about being strong in hard times. I am looking them up currently, but if you have any suggestions please suggest. (:
I mean identical twin, and also my grandma is athiest so something that is slightly suddle, if you’re getting what i’m saying.
You will find in Ephesians, chapter 6, a description of the “armor” of a Christian.
You may find this inspiring.
Psalm 28:7 – The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.
Psalm 118:14 – The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.
I’m sorry for your loss. So near Christmas too, it’s always difficult.
“And Jesus said unto them, “If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to younder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you.” Romans 1:17
“But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble. And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.” Psalm 37:39-40
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
“It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he enables me to stand on the heights. He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great. You broaden the path beneath me, so that my ankles do not turn.” Psalm 18:32-36
“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?” Corinthians 3:16
[Jesus said to him in reply, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah. For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father. And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."] Matthew 16:17-19
