What is a type of job in the finance industry that doesn’t need a university degree behind it?

I am interested in the finance/accounting/banking sector but I cannot support myself through 3 years of uni, a year of tafe would be better. What sorts of jobs are out there like this? How do I get my foot in the door?

    …the night cleaning crew… the snack bar personnell, the night security guard and several technical positions. Try on on-line technical training institute… De Vry… things like that. Get a technical position… computer science etc.
