What happen to the illegal immigrants in the economy indeed downturn? Have we seen this before?
hopefully they will all go home…
Last time they all left was after President Ike starting rounding them up. A depression would be worth it if they would all leave.
They will be treated just as they are now. They are considered citizens by everyone who protects them; their under the table “black” money will continue, and their use of our medical establishments will continue…after all, America says we “will take your poor, etc” on the Statue of Liberty, and we abide by that. Not right, but that is the way it is. Try to get it to change, where, as in Mexico, if you do anything wrong (Americans) we are thrown in jail and then asked questions. We need attorneys over there, to be sure we don’t spend years in a Mexican jail. Again, not fair but the government allows us to be screwed without foreplay, and we keep electing the same officials.
Bottom line, you will pay for them to enjoy what we are losing.
They should leave downturn or not. Yes they were all deported. Especially after WWII when returning servicemen needed jobs and the illegals refused to relinquish these needed jobs.
I am concerned (as are MOST Americans) with American citizens and LEGAL immigrants, not illegal criminal aliens.
They need to go back, be sent back, or driven back to their OWN country, whether the “economy downturns” or not!!!
They will keep doing the jobs that they are doing, because big business wants them to stay. If the people in charge of this country wanted them gone, they’d be gone. They provide a very important service in the economy, and if they all left immediately (as so many people seem to want) and their jobs were given to US citizens at minimum wage, you’d see the economy crash and burn in a way that would make our current situation look like a garden party.
Apparently many are leaving.
I read in the Herald a few days ago of one chap who returned to Mexico because he was one of those who lost his home to the “morgage robbers” that are all over the news these days.
I found it interesting cuz so many on YA deny that Mexicans can buy a home here. This amigo bought, got caught in the “recission that isn’t happening quite yet” and took his dough and ran …back to Mexico.
Rape and run. In all honesty, if I were prone to do such things as these folks, I would have done the same thing.
Maybe we will get lucky and our governments lack of ability or efficiency, will kill/drive away many of the parasites it has attracted, as it maims and mangles the rest of us.
Maybe they will all go home…The illegal immigrants will continue to corrupt America. We allow
anyone to come in here, pop out babies like machine guns, (bonus
check for welfare, which means more money) and allow anyone born here
to become automatic U.S. citizens. Think of the U.S. as a small jar.
Think of the world as a massive glass container. The marbles
represent the people…as long as you try to put more and more in
from the large jar (represents the entire world), to the small jar
(U.S.), eventually, it will start overflowing. That is what is
happening…overpopulation is HUGE right now. The rate we are going
at, we won’t ever be able to build enough roads, houses, schools,
hospitals, etc., the way we are growing. The economy is bashed every
single year. I have no idea how much the budget is for illegals, but
it has to be billions, even trillions of dollars. They come here, get
free food, health care, rob from Social Security, live off of
welfare. The more kids they have, the more checks they get, so why
not have eight to ten kids? The financial burden is horrible…no
telling how many trillions these illegals are costing us yearly. How
do we stop this crisis? Well, just take the benefits away. If we
didn’t have all the FREE things to offer, they wouldn’t be coming
here. The education…HAVE ALL BOOKS IN ENGLISH. Don’t let the
illegals get college education…take them back to Mexico if they
can’t get citizenship (it’s not like it’s hard in the first
place…it may be a long process, but not hard.) The unemployment
rates will continue to rise because they come here, don’t work or
anything, get everything for FREE, so why should they work…they
just get everything handed to them in the first place. If they get
paid to sit on their butts eating burritos all day instead of
working, why not? Bringing more people in to take jobs…BS! If a
legal U.S. citizen needs a job bad enough, he/she will do whatever
they have to do to get that extra money. If you can’t handle the
answer, don’t ask the question.
