What bank offers the best mortgage terms for first time home buyers?

I was wondering if anyone out there knew which banks were the kindest to first time home buyers in regards to cheaper fees and closing costs. I know Bank of America had a deal a couple of years ago for their banking customers that they would not have to pay some fees as customers.

If anyone knows of a great bank that doesn’t slam first time home buyers with fees, let me know! Thanks!

  1. You need to contact a mortgage broker that works with many lenders and they may be able to get you a loan with no fees if you qualify.

  3. great question!

I just went through two loan process with brokers who lied through their teeth. I would go with Quicken Loans they are direct lenders and closed within 14 days with appriasal all smooth sailing and way cheaper then BOFA because i had existing lien with bofa and checking savings and quicken gave me much better deal, and they guarenteed the best rate for next three years otherwise they will refinance me again for no cost besides title. BOOM!
