Toronto Loreal Fashion Week


ANCHOR: From March 17th to March 22nd, spectators from all over the world got a glimpse of what Toronto fashion has to offer for the fall. STORY: Toronto’s L’Oreal Fashion Week portrayed the city rightfully peaceful, friendly, welcoming, and all together diverse. This year’s runway was graced by silhouettes of elegant structure, intricate designs and paired perfectly with fitted tops and volume skirts. Aside from the leather, metallic teffeta, soft draping silks also made it onto the runway, flattering every one who adorned them. The show highlighted a line of traditional fall colours, including red, black, gray, and winter white. In contrast to previous fall collections, this season’s designers seemed to have returned to the classic basic black. Smokey eyes with a dark burgundy lip topped by slicked back buns or a volume up do as consistent throughout the week. This week’s show also integrated Project Runway Canada designers, who’s shows proved to be one of the main attractions for the spectators.
