@Mrtucka100 don’t get an rx8 man. They get like 10 miles per gallon, burn oil, and have no low end power. The engines and transmissions are known to blow out under 50k miles. Look up reviews from actual owners. Everyone I have ever known that has one wasn’t happier with it than the day they sold it.

I think rx8′s are a joke. The last time I saw the interiors they looked cheap as fuck and they had random nuts and bolts in the head rest..POOR ENGINEERING.

@satanic66688 You’re a fuckin idiot, first, first day i bought my RX8 I caught up to a 90;94 civic and I stomped it, thinking I wouldn’t being that my car was stock and he obviously had something under the hood… you’re an idiot if you think your civic piece of shit can beat an RX8…. try racing an RX8 with someone that knows how to drive.

The new rotary is rubbish. The old 13B-REW was better.
I adore the 3rd gen RX7′s but im very uneasy about buying an aged rotary, seeing how they arent the most reliable engines. The RX8 seems like a great new toy for me but what are the tuning capabilities and whats the best way to get some speed outta this car? Sorry if i asked any stupid questions
I own a 94 civic 2 dr coupe, and its faster then that rx8, and i dont even have a turbo.

It’s a 1.3l engine. But because it’s a rotary engine, the moment u move off, u get the displacemnt of a 2.6. That’s also one of the reasons why u can get over 200bhpb on stock. But overall, your insurance coverage should be for a 1.3, not 2.6.
have to agree this car handles VERY well. Despite the lack of real power, its a real joy to drive.
His comparison to the RX-7 was not exactly accurate. He was comparing it to the last version of the RX-7 which was a bit more powerful engine. He should have compared it to the previous version of the RX-7 which was a bit cheaper. I owned a 1989 RX-7 and it was a fun car. This car’s engine in that car would be great. For this type of car, I don’t think you need 4 seats. Compared to the 1989 model, this version is ugly. The 3rd generation had up to 276 hp.
This car is awful on gas. Not even worth buying for the type of car it is.
I think this car is brilliant. The engine sound is good(at least, for lover of rotary), easy to drive, shape is flowing. But… it eats a little more petrol. According to the report of Mazda, about 8~9km/l.
This car is not major in Japan ’cause of taxes. RE are taxed higher in Japan(I don’t know as regard that of the UK). I wish the more Japanese rode this car…
