/ = (slide toward the body) \ = (slide toward the head-stock) h = (hammer on) p = (pull off) (” “) = (you don’t actually hit the note but it’s the ending note to a pull off, hammer on or slide) (Like I said in the description for Vicarious: If you don’t know a palm mute when you hear…
@SCOverstreet I was more replying to his nit picking. I just replied to you because you were the latest in the comment thread.
@SCOverstreet Does this guy even know what a guitar is?
@hojima What, you think I don’t know that? Come on man…
@SCOverstreet Either way fretting a note and hitting an open note produce totally different sounds.
21 people must have been high……..
@sd5775 Its drop D, the timing is 4/4 which is a very common timing, but Tool makes it sound like its not 4/4
very cool man!
hey are you using any effects or distortion pedals?
@dbsk8r92 grammar nazi…. haha! This guitarist is spot on. No one should criticize this man’s playing…. EVER!!! Good job overstreet.
Youtube: Wake Up Call
Learn how we are being controlled, poisoned, and robbed while we continue to pretend that we are free.
Youtube: Wake Up Call, a documentary. Fellow people, understand that our life as each of us THINK we know it is controlled by a system that uses us in ways that most cannot even fathom is true. This is a start in understanding, trust me.
I have watched most of your tool covers and there all excelent. Question @4:19 should this be a higher note at the end of every riff to 4;29
@dbsk8r92 Whats the tuning for the song, i mean the original recording? The timing of the song seems to be strange to me though.
Wow, Just Fkn Wow man. Wishin you the best of luck and hopefully I’ll get to see you playing here in Dallas soon. Some people just stand out above the rest.
Wow man, you owned that. Thanks so much for posting these videos.
excellent cover, i also respect the fact that you take the effort to post the tabs, cheers mate
@dbsk8r92 Agreed. Fretted notes sound better than open notes. You played it right. The only time open notes sound better is when you play clean beacuse you get better sustain.
SICK DUDE FUCK THE BULSHIT I LIKE IT!
@dbsk8r92 Well if you took some time off from learning your notes to listen closely you might find there is a difference in sound if you hit the same note on different strings.
I keep listening to this.. it’s addictive. Don’t listen to anyone saying it’s bad, i can only dream to play like this!
Sick skills man, nice work on the tabs.
:O Jaw Dropping! I should slap myself for ever doubting you… jk…. Its stellar, man!
Great video, thanks so much!!!
By the way I Love the way you put tabs over video when you play “right in two”. Could you do the same here? Pretty please, it would be great.
Thanks again, great job!
Just killer SCOverstreet!
@dbsk8r92 you suck…
