    @macdoro999 – and the US is losing jobs to the world, period. China is the biggest drain, but there are others, In 20 years or sooner we will not have much of a manufacturing base. Who said anything about repealing NAFTA, the thing to turn this country around would be repealing this entitlement mindset. The biggest point of this video is to create your own, versus waiting for someone else to do it for you, because if you don’t chance are pretty good you are toast.

    @Glendon007 Wrong. the U.S granted China MFN status in 1980 after Nixon’s visit. It was subject to annual renewal by Congress. Clinton made it permanent in 2000. My point is that the U.S. is losing jobs to China, not Canada and Mexico. The U.S. cannot compete with China on labor rates, so opening up the U.S. economy to competition from China was bound to be disastrous. Repealing NAFTA would not improve the U.S. economy. Globalism allows cheap labor countries direct access to U.S. markets.

    @macdoro999 – NAFTA was put into effect 1994 and China’s MFN came about in 2000, the same political climate that allowed NAFTA pushed forth China’s MFN status and we all got screwed, like I said it all started with NAFTA……

    NAFTA has nothing to do with the economic problems of the U.S. . The problem started when the U.S. gave China “most favored nation” status and opened up the U.S. to competition from a country where labor rates are 1/10th of U.S. labor rates. What you are experiencing now is collapse of U.S. aggregate demand because so many jobs have been exported to China.

    I keep a hustler’s mindset. I buy stuff and sell it to guys I work with and then in turn they ask me to look for thing for them.
