Would it make sense to seek an investor for an upscale franchise?
When I think about franchising, I think about Subway and Quiznos and McDonalds and all that. But I would like to open up a more upscale restaurant I wanted to know if it would be appropriate to seek funding for a franchise like that?
I mean, what would I have to bring to the table to see funding for something like an upscale restaurant? If it is appropriate to seek funding for a franchise, that is.

How much sense would it make?
You’d fire any broker that gave the returns on your investment that this blunder in Iraq has.
dez604 (below) The nightmare began when Bush decided it would be a great idea to invade Iraq.
The nightmare will continue until America leaves Iraq. Don’t blame Clinton and Pelosi and everyone who isn’t a Republican for Bush’s bad decisions. Bush allowed Rumsfeld to disban the Iraqi Army. That decision was the nail in the coffin. Invading Iraq in the first place was a bad idea. Disbanding their military made it mission impossible.

Locutus1of1 (below) Yet again comparing Iraq to the 3rd Reich and Japan?
No comparison between Iraq’s ability and Germany/Japan’s capability. Also, America was attacked by Japan and Germany declared war on the US.
Locutus1of1 – “We are not the same people we were then.”
Disagree. America was not willing to enter WW-2 until the attack on Pearl Harbor. WW-2 began years before the US got involved.

What would happen if the bank decides to repossed my moms car? And will it affect me?
Posted by admin in Finance Saturday, 3 December 2011 21:11 4 Comments
I noticed that my mom has been late on making payments to the bank, and that reason is because she has so many things to pay off. What would happen if the bank decides to repo the car and if she tries to hide it. Will this affect me to, because they keep coming to the house and I keep telling them that she isn’t here and she isn’t here to tell you the truth, but you see here I am student in northridge and I don’t like getting into this kind of mess I am not sure what to do, but I am hoping that I am not involved, because it can screw up my life. I just barely got accepted to the cal state university too.
I am not a coborrower on the loan, nor did I sign anything I am saying what would happen if she tried to hide the car is it against the law? If it is I dont want to be involved, I am trying to move out of here because it is a hassle being here. Too much problems keep building up.
I wouldn’t be able to help my mom out either, because she did mess up my credit and I am stuck on a debt management program and I have to make sure that I make payments on time. Once I start working I probably cant assist her, because that car is way too expensive its like 18,000 dollers and her credit is bad so that means her interest is gonna be high. But let say I start working I would only have enough to support myself I would have to pay rent, pay for books, pay for the dmp program, pay for food, pay for anything else that I need such as utilities.
What bank and type of bank account would you recommend a high school student get?

I’m not sure what bank to go to, some say Washington Mutual, but others say Bank of America. What do you recommend? Also, I don’t make that much money, but I’m in an argument between a checking and a savings account.

I’m looking into a new tattoo, which will have a picture of a compass, and some sort of quote. This will be my 5th tattoo and I need a meaningful quote for it and finding yourself, or something in that sense. I’ve done some reseach already, just seeing if there’s any good ones I’m missing. Thanks
