Are there any necessary legal steps to establishing an investing and trading group at school?

I am starting an investing and trading club at my high school. We plan on having the members of the group invest real money in stocks of different companies and trade, and hopefilly come out with a profit. Since there are a number of investors, would we have to establish outselves as some type of partership for tax reasons? What is the best way to go about this?

What makes business school so important?

What makes business school so important? I know a ton of small business owners that never went to business school and some that have. When I ask them whether or not I should take business classes before opening my own business they just tell me that I should pick up “Small Business for Dummies”, read that and then I’ll be set. They’ve told me that that book is just as good as any business school and cheaper. What are your opinions?

How good is the business school at the University of Texas at Arlington?

Can someone let me know how good is the business school at the University of Texas at Arlington? Which business school is better, the business school at the University of Texas at Arlington or the business school at the University of Texas at Dallas?
My question refers to studies at a master degree level as I am evaluating to pursue an MBA at this university. Thank you for your answers.

What is a good quote to summarize my freshmen year in high school?

Since the year is coming to an end, my english teacher is making us write a 250 word paragraph on a quote that would summarize our freshmen year in high school. I would like a quote about growing up, life or changing, or taking chances. Basically something under those lines or any personal quotes that you really like. Thank you
Could you also give credit to the person who once said it.

Should students be required to take finance classes in school?

With the economic situation the way it is, and more and more people being deeper in debt, should schools start providing finance classes in school?

Working in the financial field myself, I see on a daily basis how people don’t really have any idea of how important it is to plan for the future, and most of those who think they have planned, haven’t really prepared properly.

What do you think? Do you know how to lay out a monthly budget? How to invest for your retirement, whether an IRA, 401(k), or other retirement system? Do you understand how to utilize the system to receive the most tax breaks possible?

95% of America has 5% of the total money available in America. These people consist of employees and those who are self-employed. The other 5% have the remaining 95% of the money, and are business owners and investors.

So do you want to work for your money, or have your money work for you?
