Is it possible for a very large investor to withdraw enough money from a company to cause it’s stock to drop?

Is it possible for a very large investor to withdraw enough money from a company to cause it’s stock to drop then reinvest a smaller amount of money at the lower price? Or are their some law dealing with this issue?


How can one bank continue to hold funds when evidence shows a check has cleared the bank it’s written on?

Isn’t this double dipping? The bank doing the hold gets interest on deposited funds. They collect interest on my funds while I cannot use my funds because of their continuing hold of 5 business days. Report them to the Federal Reserve Bank and let’s stop them.

But can that really be true if they are going further and further into debt? The United States is much more closely compared to Greece rather than Japan. The Japanese had savings and a strong trade surplus when their recession began. The Federal Reserve’s balance sheet has grown dramatically in the past couple years. Much of the government’s debt is financed by Treasury Bills, and when interest rates go up, the premium will go sky high. It doesn’t matter that the GDP numbers are going up. The actual economy isn’t growing. It’s mostly debt financed consumption by both the government and by individuals. The best way to preserve your money is to look to acquire income streams in something besides dollars or euros.
