What type of bank account should i open when saving for a house?

I have a bank account at the moment but the interest rate i’m currently on is 0.03% (which is crap) and i was wondering what type of account should i be looking to open and what banks are good to look at? The money will be in this account for at least the next year if not longer and i put through monthly lodgments varying in amounts so i don’t want anything with a fixed amount.
Any help anyone could provide would be much appreciated!

This video shares a few of my ideas about investing in a property. Please keep in mind that my ideas about ‘what works’ as an ideal investment is based upon the area I live in & also based upon my own personal desires of what I am willing to take on as a DIY. The example house I show in this video is one that I consider to be a relatively low risk investment for a DIY – relatively low overhead costs needed to remodel – relatively low monthly utility bill to maintain – can easily be rented out for profit if it does not sell right away. The Bottom Line: When investing in a property for profit..you must be able to get a good deal, keep remodel costs to a minimum, & then price the house competitively for todays market.
