I would like to open a college account, with applicable tax benefits, if possible, through an online bank to put $ in a MMA or CDs (this is to supplement our 529 for our oldest child). Where is a good online bank to do so?
What is a good ROI for an investor that is a silent partner?
Some more facts:
* I’ll be running the business (a restaurant)
* I think that the parnter will invest a portion fo the business start up costs
* Partner will be a silent partner / not doing anything with the business
My QUESTION: What is a good agreement between both parties concerning ROI for the person that is investing int he business?

I just started a new job not too long ago, and have been investing into my 401k for a little over a year (I’m 24). I have been wanting to open a Roth IRA account, but don’t know if it’s wise with the economy the way it is at the moment. Any advice would be appreciated!

There are share of the federal reserve banks not publicly traded held by private people. Those shares do not entitle them to any kind of profit, due to the nature of the federal reserve bank. What are those shares good for then ? Do they hold any kind of power, or is it just awesome to have shares of the federal reserve bank ?
Shucks so it is better if money is being backed up by something thats shiny instead of the fruits and labour of a modern society ?
