Why Big Bankers and Corporations Love Obama

09/06/2010 – www.RonPaul.com Successful Economic Policies? For Whom? by Ron Paul Last week, in the wake of another uptick in the official unemployment rate, the administration continued to claim that their economic policies were working, just not fast enough. This administration inherited an unemployment rate of 7.7% and promised a peak of no higher than 8% if their policies were followed. Not only does the administration have a funny way of ending a war, but now they claim their economic policies are successful. For whom, I wonder? These policies are not working for the 9.6% of Americans who are out of work, nor for the over16% underemployed. They are not working for nearly 3 million Americans who have declared bankruptcy in the last two years, or the 40 million currently on food stamps. Nearly 1 in 6 Americans depend on those and other government anti-poverty programs such as Medicaid and unemployment benefits. As more Americans are added to the unemployment rolls, the tax base from which to hand out their benefits is shrinking. Still, businesses are being taxed and regulated out of the market, adding to the problem. What solutions are put forth? More government spending — even as each citizen’s portion of the public debt is over $43000 and expected to increase by $250000 over the next 40 years. No, this economy is not working for these people. But current economic policy does “work” for some people. For example, it has worked out very well for certain bankers and

VirtualLight #6 Conscious Corporations Beacons of Light – April 2009

From Steve: As we work our way further into the economic restructuring that is now unfolding on Planet Earth the group took this message to give more information on the future of corporations, governments, religions and organizations of all types. Although they said the message was for all types of collective gatherings they specifically singled out corporations. They said that corporations have influenced and often controlled our world, and yet they have an inherent character flaw. Their main intent is to make money. In the lower vibrations of Planet Earth this has worked quite well but now the profit at any cost mentality is showing serious signs of weakness. Mankind is evolving at an unbelievable rate and now is the time for all of us to look at evolving our corporations, governments and religions as well as our individual selves. This resetting of economies that is currently underway will motivate all of us to make sure that this never happens again. One of the suggestions the group has previously brought up is that becoming a corporation makes that collective a legal entity with the same legal rights as any individual. Yet people are also responsible to the higher good of mankind and because of the way they are formed, a corporation can actually be sued for making decisions that place the good of mankind over profit. The group has previously suggested that we give the corporation a soul and work with it on that level. To do that it must be responsible first to
