  1. @HouseLyrander you got a wrong point and you kknow this but your jelously wont let you accept it … lol you know for sure that the prius does 61 mpg even in top geaer they give it a 40 mpg which is a lie but still more than what you say and yeah there is people with teslas that charge ffrom the sun im so sorry you didnt eve know about , joke i know you do , but wherever because first god youll see many electric clean cars and homes and thats good i dont know why you get sad about it

  2. @bonds911 If you can drive around without a drop of fuel, then please, share your secret, but my point still stands that the 25-30 mpg is not acceptable for an economy car.

  3. So I must buy me a Audi R8… Lol! I wish!

  4. Changing your driving style, that’s a true tip. Really, how many people speed up to red lights, or insist on rocket take-offs? That is where lots of petrol is going: wasted on minless stupidity, or just impatience.

  5. orrr just buy a evo 10 with 300 horse power its a demon, wit less fees

  6. @HouseLyrander i see you running your little mouth very wrong ahahahahaha,, what would you say if i beat your geo metro with my tesla charged from the sun ahhh ?>>> sorry you lost fuck top gear and both of his fans and its oil partners im sorry but clean air is next i invested all my money in clean techonlogy yes all my money ….

  7. prius can get up to 70mpg, an m3 could never get close to that. The manufacturing data is out of date, it is still way more economical to buy and use a hybrid.

  8. now there’s a top gear top tip: don’t change your car, change your driving style

  9. @partyman6666

True m8, I forgot about the mechanical drag that an front diff generates… xP

  10. @rock3tcat The 4WD system makes a huuuuge difference in comparison to a pure 2WD car in terms of fuel economy. It’s not the pure weight of the 4WD components that matters, it’s the extra parasitic drive-train loss and additional rotational mass of the transfer case, front driveshaft, front differential, and the fact that there are both front and rear CV-joints instead of just one set. All those extra components take a lot of extra energy to spin, and thus hurt fuel economy.

  11. How the hell does a 420hp Audi R8 keep up with all these other cars when the next LEAST powerful car is the 510hp Aston Martin DBS????

  14. change your driving style, so drive faster !!

  15. The Prius does work perfectly and is much more economical in traffic jam and busy urban situations. There it can benefit from the batteries ruling out the internal combustion engine that is running a terrible poor fuel economy in those situations.

That is the trick with the hybrids. That’s why it didn’t work in this testing. It never goes on the batteries in this here, always running on the 1.5 litre engine.

It’s perfect for the traffic jam every weekday in the morning and the late afternoon.

  16. @rock3tcat the system only weighs 58KG…but it takes far more gas to use it.

consider it this way. my Dad has a dodge dakota 4×4 sport. and my uncle has the dakota 5.9 R/T.

the 4×4 sport in RWD mode gets ( remember it still has to turn the transfer case and drive shaft for the front wheels even tho 4×4 is not engaged) about **430km** to the tank

in full 4×4 mode it gets about **340km** to the tank

and the 5.9L R/T gets about 400km to the tank

So yes, 4X4 makes a huge difrence

  17. @CemetaryGatesML

The 4WD system in a Murcielago and R8 only weighs about 58 kg extra compared to a RWD setup, that’s about the same as a fat man’s stomach… So it won’t make that much of a difference.

  18. @HouseLyrander very true it should…but, the prius weighs allot more than your geo. and the have a similar outputting engine. so ur geo probably has a higher powet to weight ratio even tho they have similar HP Numbers.

sad that they still cant beat 90′s gas milage hahah

  19. @CemetaryGatesML True, it never runs the engine unless it needs to, but like I said, my old Geo Metro still got way better mileage, no matter the driving style. My point is, a hybrid should be outdoing my Geo Metro in gas mileage, not being left in the dust by it.

  20. they are retarded… the R8 has allot of luxury and is AWD…

sooo its a heavy car with AWD. if you want a super car with good fuel efficency get a light RWD car, with a small engine.

  21. @HouseLyrander your right, lightweight cars with small engines get great milage. kinda like an old diesel jetta.

but the prius can drive in the city on only battery. making it far more efficent because if you never go fast ( because ur in a city) you never waiste any gas.

  22. @MegaMrDamo
I should put a 9 volt battery and a pencil sharpener on my Golf GTI and say its a hybrid

  23. OR IS IT !!!?

  24. @gmcprime Engrish mofo do you speak it?

  25. brilliant! take that, prius
