The United States GDP per capita has been falling year after year. In 2008 we were third (even with the highest gdp) after having the first president in half a century to see a wage decrease over his presidency.
We’re still ahead of most of the world, but if you don’t notice them starting to overtake us, you are blind.

In what “reality” do you live? You say that socialist countries are better economically than the United States. I think the people in the UK would object to that statement. Most of the EU is currently in serious financial trouble. Spain is about to go bankrupt followed closely by Ireland. Please state where you get your facts. I was in Europe last summer and the people I spoke to in Italy, France, Spain and the UK complained about massive inflation and taxes.

Think it through…I know it’s hard……tanks and bombs are made of what? Steel, that’s right. An industrial infrastructure was required to produce this steel, which was utilized for many applications, not just weapons. And when the war ended, it was in place for domestic production and exports.
It’s called dynamic analysis, it’s easy to figure out if you just try.

News shows have Ron Paul on only because they like the radical things he says, it is entertaining and gets them ratings. They don’t really care about the substance of what he’s saying.
