Ken achieved a level of god-like genius with this number. There was a lot of chaff from the wheat, but that will always stand as a majestic tribute to Ken, even at its very best. I love the way he smiles when he is ready to implement this. He knows he’s caught something a bit special. . . . . and of course sad it now stands as a sort of farewell.

I agree with you conorthetaximan! I am reading this for the second Time this year! the diaries really opened my eyes to the fear that went wide and not be undercut by Kenneth Williams all the time! He is one of my fave comedians! He is there with Frankie Howerd sid James Tommy Cooper Benny Hill Kenny Everett Russ Abbott, Brian Conley and Bobby davro for me!
