www.nma.tv The Celtic Tiger’s roar is no more. Two decades of uninhibited economic growth have come to a shuddering halt in the wake of the financial crisis and the Irish government and its people are now feeling the pain. Forced to accept an IMF/EU bailout, things are now so bad some fear a return to the past when Ireland’s young were forced to look overseas in the search for opportunity. www.nma.tv
this is insane LOL
These cunts should be fuckin shot, bertie fuck face wanker!
Brilliant, this should be a game where you can go around driving over FF politicians and beating them with baseball bats.
Bailout? You mean high interest loan needed to pay the debts of private companies (the banks) because our government were so stupid (and corrupt) to make them ours. We are borrowing money from European banks, to give to our banks, who will pay back the same European banks that gave them the money in the first place to gamble. So they win TWICE. The banks give them the money they borrowed and the Irish pay them back for a loan………… corruption has gone to new heights.
As they used to say in the UK, keep calm. Carry on. Go down politely. Say thank you as you sink. Such nice people, the Irish.
Hmmm…I’m the 100,000th view. If I had an Irish government bond for every previous view, I’d still be broke. If you’re wondering why we haven’t taken to the streets in a more radical way, then look to our deference to the Roman Catholic Church. We are their battered child. Fearful, brow-beaten and unwilling to see through the lies and deceit, both theologically and politically.
@ursulalawless Ireland is not fighting – no body is fighting because we have been tricked into thinking we are bad people, we deserve this, its your fault, you are guilty of racism and climate change and its inevitable. It would not enter peoples heads that the real racists are at the top. It wouldn’t occur to them that what is being done to them is the real race crime and one our British, Irish and Australian ancestors have experienced before.
Hands up who is enjoying dispossession, racial Eugenics and genocide at the hands of the New World Order?
im not voting.ive made my mind up.not voting for people i dont know ever again.
ah shut up,,Irish, grandfathers ,grandmothers,,,yeah they are gone,,,but they fought,,,and what do we do ,,,,our own government only brought the Irish language in the last decade to qualify for a post for a position, joke, and then sold us,im sure they are the racist fuckers here, makes me sick.however,if anyone else feels worthy thru honesty do an eminem ,please stand up,,and then take a good look at eygpt,,,fuck religion, and wrong people ,uprising! were sick of political, religious dishonest orders
@donnyab Well I would be able to reply to your comment if you could just tell me what the video was about …
@donnyab I understand that, I meant that the majority of the blame lies with lenders who lent out exorbitant amounts of money without so much as a simple background check on the lender. Then the lender is thrown out of his house for not being able to repay. It made the news the other day that Zurich Bank had lent a shopkeeper, a man who had no building, construction or development experience, 32 million euros to build a shopping centre. It boggles my mind that banks thought this was sustainable.
@afewtube It wasnt just British rule we were complaining about, it was the fact that we were being ruled at all. If it were Spanish or Italians we would have fought just as hard. We fought for our own independence, and now that we have it it seems our government cant give it away fast enough. You English have it right on the money when you talk about leaving the EU. Ireland should do the same imo.
@nallyterrace Yes there are children/people starving in countries all over the world, the world is a terrible place etc. but thats exactly it, a third world country. Ireland was in the same boat years ago, now it is a developed first world country. Countries must develop on their own. Ireland has done exactly that, and the money that was made as a product of that was squandered. People are angry that money they once had is now being taken away from them. They have a right to be in my opinion.
@donnyab I really dont have the time to watch a 13 minute video at the moment, could you summarise it please? Main points, what it’s trying to get across?
@donnyab Yes but who lent out all of that money? BANKERS! The men and women at the top who thought the boom would never end so they gave away money like it was dirt. What would you do if you were an ordinary person walking down the road, 2 or 3 year old car, average mortgage repayments, and you see a sign claiming that you can borrow almost as much as you want with very low interest rates, hassle free. Exorbitant amounts of money was lent out to people who the banks knew wouldnt be able to repay
@dub2dabone11
Treat yourself to a little knowledge.

@donnyab You’re a fucking idiot coming out with shit like that, do you think every Irish person got rich during the boom and went out buying houses and cars? NO it was the top end of our society that got rich, then when the shit hit the fan its the regular people who have to pay for it! If you wanna say that the people in power are thick as bottled pig shit then go ahead but do not even dare slander every Irish person burdened with the solution to problems they themselves did not create.
@donnyab This is response to your take on the Paddies (how they “never fucking learn”). You’re right! The native Irish have become apathetic and pussified. I’m an Irish American living in Ireland, and I just cannot believe how disgusting it all is. The majority of Irishmen of fighting age here are asleep, brainwashed and/or totally apathetic. It’s truly depressing. Pathetic.
@ursulalawless Labour will not go into government with sinn fein. It is unfortunate. I am a Labour supporter myself but I honestly think that the most plausible outcome of this election will be a Fine Gael lead government with independent backing and then Labour will be the head of opposition.
Another poorhouse in europe, what a disgrace.
@ursulalawless are you going to ask Mr. Gilmore to cut his and his wifes huge public sector pay cheques. (she is on 3 grand a week on a pointless quango) whilst he is acting on the fact that we employ them? Do you expect him to ask Trade Union leaders to reduce their six figure perked up pensioned up salaries as well given they are employed by their members many of whom are losing work. Good luck nad don’t hold your breath on either.
@NumberDne There is nothing wrong with northern ireland, i merely suggested imperialism is wrong, everybody knows that.
not a debate for a British nationalist . so we’ll leave at that. twisting the subject i suggest is also wrong.
have a good day, you can write on my page if you want a debate about capitalism or imperialism. other wise im not interested in having a school boy debate about who’s country is better, or who’s country has better shops like you give the impression.
@cuplafucall “northern ireland is. and look what happened their. imperialism is wrong.”
What is wrong with Northern ireland? Northern ireland is a great place.
