At least he redeemed himself unlike the cheneys, bushes, rumsfelds, Dulleses, McNamaras, etc of the world. But Kruschev, Alabama governor Wallace, Pat Buchannan, etc: you can’t help but like these guys after they take a complete turn for the good later in life.

@arzoyan dude thats not true capitalism. youre referring to government controlled capitalism which isn’t capitalism to begin with. government intervention is the problem not capitalism. capitalism works if left to its own devices. the market always prevails no matter how hard the government tries to control it. that is what we are witnessing now. the battle is between the market and government. government will lose and make things worse. it will just take time.
@djeo890 That’s why you have a good marketing agent, if they spread the word of the book fast and his popularity essentially rises exponentially in a short matter of time, then any third party wouldn’t dare touch him because it would be blatantly obvious. If he died in a plane crash tomorrow… I’m sure we would all know what happened. But, it’s all about getting his name out to the public quickly, and it’s a risky initial investment for the publisher and himself, but it’s worked.
@robinsonbindon There are many ways of imposing rule and Government and foolish to ever believe that any form of Democracy exists in practice. John Perkins is not the only North American open to an objective mood to describing how the world economy is run. North Americans are not the only ones that allow their offspring to go off to troubled nations to favor large companies.
That would be too heavy handed and confirm what he is saying.
He created a tempting image for him and for it’s books, that’s what he is doing right now. WE are interested in such things(undergroung things about whats happening in the back of the scene), that’s how he sells his books.
If he think is a good man, I have nothing to say about it(just approve it). I think just how and why could a man that must keep the secret about its last job, could survive without having any repercussion from third parties.

If he was killed it would be obvious that what he was saying was true. So why would the CIA or other similar organizations be stupid enough to kill him? Instead they will fail to comment on him. If they are questioned about the validity, they will say they have no idea who he is and that there is no proof for anything he said.
Yes…why is this man still alive…that is an interesting fact to consider….before accepting everything he is saying as truth. True whistle blowers have short life spans….after they go public.

@arzoyan Capitalism encourages a “free market”. But there is no free market in the US. Everything is highly regulated and controlled by the Fed, who have successfully manipulated the definition of capitalism in order to give it a bad reputation, which lends credence to their claim that they therefore need to further “regulate” the free market, thereby distorting it further and to their advantage. It’s to do with control and greed of a select few, which has nothing to do with capitalism.
