I am using a quote from an unknown author as the title of my paper. How do I cite that?

I am using the following quote as the title of my paper: “The purity of a person’s heart can be quickly measured by how they regard animals.” The author is unknown. Do I place quotation marks around my title? How do I let people known this isn’t my work?
