How does the Stock stereo system in a 2007 ford taurus sound?

Factory stereo systems have come along way in recent years and for most people, is a good system. There are usually enough adjustments that you can find the sound you want. However, the stock speakers will not hold up for continuous, extreme bass or loudness but you can always get better speakers that will fit the stock holes through places like Crutchfield. If the car has Premium Sound System that already upgrades the speakers to some degree.
I love the sound of my 2005, best stereo sound I’ve ever had. I’m a bit older so having a very loud sub-base sound is not something I need.

Normally the stereo system in any car is totally based on the trim level. Most Ford cars, will come with your stock 4 speaker single CD set. Upgrade to a Limited and you get premium, adds two speakers and a sub. Sound is heard different from one person to another. We tend to compare it to another sound system we have .Like a home stereo. So i would guess overall, it is decent, and will play all frequencies to a degree.I own one, and I sell them too.
