Hehehe…so apparently my uploads don’t have a time limit anymore. There’s only one way to test my new priviledge – We take you back to February 1988. Yukari Ohmori and Dump Matsumoto wrestle in their retirement exhibition match against Chigusa Nagayo & Lioness Asuka (the Crush Girls). To underscore the significance of what you’re watching, this tidbit from Quebrada.net: “The AJW television show that aired this match, and the subsequent exhibition, drew a whopping 13.3 rating on a Saturday afternoon, which made it the most watched wrestling event in Japan in 1988.” Also included in this hour, highlights of Ohmori’s final singles match with Lioness Asuka (at a house show three days later, Feb 28th) and Dump’s final match with her former cronies, Condor Saito and the woman who would take Dump’s place as #1 in the stable, Bull Nakano (same show). Of course we’ll see the official ceremony at the end too. There’s also a little surprise from the Crush Girls afterwards, so a lot of good stuff here. Those of you who have followed the Dump/Crush matches for some time here on YouTube or elsewhere will find this especially moving if you haven’t seen this before.
