If anything, unemployment would make it easier for pepole to replenish their savings at 10 cents on the dollar THAN WORKING for the same amount of money, than having to pay union dues, taxes, gas, transportation, uniform upkeep, etc. Not saying that that’s what they’re doing because they have more incentive to buy IPads, IPods, etc. made in China (contrary to what John McCain would tell you, LOL).

you make some valid points.. but unemployment is here to stay…. it’s caused by advancements in technology (machines that do our jobs) + outsourced jobs. i go to the grocery store and get checked out by machines; when i was a kid there would be 15 cashiers…. so now there’s a bunch of people competing for too few jobs that pay to low…. with all the technological advances people should be working less and living better.

Hey Peter I don’t know if anyone has ever mentioned this, but do you think that the increase in population will have anything to do with an even bigger dramatic increase in silver? If every one in america needed 100 silver dollars when a silver dollar cost a dollar divided by the population wouldn’t the price be multiplied by the people who needed dollars to live on?
