I cut down the song a fair bit, which killed me. It’s such an amazing song, but when it comes to vidding Kris and Adam, it’s not like they’re characters from a book, movie or TV show; they don’t have “scenes”, or any direct bulk of footage, so I felt like it’d be redundant if I kept the whole song and had to stray into filler clips. I just wanted to show you their relationship, and didn’t want to mess around with much else. Interpret the video as you wish; friendship, something more, whatever you want! It works no matter which way you spin it, really. To be 100% honest, I was leaning more towards friendship, because I think the fact that they are such good friends despite all the social stigma is what makes them so freaking amazing. They find nothing bizarre or unnatural about it at all; they’re both just happy to have found a solid friend, and I think that’s so sweet! One thing I kept as a recurring image was the nailpolish; it’s really subtle, but about three times during the video, I’d show a close-up of their mirrored nails and an overlay of Adam in San Diego, and Kris in Conway.
