    There’s nothing wrong with wanting to fit into a category. If you don’t want to be labled then just be yourself. There’s also nothing wrong with calling yourself indie or hipster unless your just a wanabe. I’m happy with saying I’m a hipster. My whole life I’ve had an ‘indie’ personality, never wanted to play football as a kid, always wanted to be original, never enjoyed mainstream music. It’s something you are born with and if you are born with this personality you are a lucky person, be proud!

    Look up a band called “While The City Sleeps”, kind of similar colourful soundscapes and big emotional crescendos, especially the song “Rooftop Dreamers”.

    @dambi91 Its not being a hipster. Its getting rid of labels that not only exist to define our attitude or what we listen to but to put people down such as asians as are nerds. I think both you and nesquick agree on identifying with a subculture its just that he believes we shouldn’t confine ourselves to labels.
